Basketball club Krka from Novo Mesto, Slovenia, is a bright representative of European basketball with a rich history and significant achievements. Founded in 1948, the club has gone through periods of disbandment and revival to become one of the leading teams in the region. In 1997, the pharmaceutical company Krka breathed new life into the city's basketball by supporting the creation of a team that has since actively participated in European club competitions.

BC Krka is proud of its numerous titles. The team is a seven-time champion of Slovenia and the winner of the 2011 Challenge Cup.
