Basketball club Krka from Novo Mesto, Slovenia, is a bright representative of European basketball with a rich history and significant achievements. Founded in 1948, the club has gone through periods of disbandment and revival to become one of the leading teams in the region. In 1997, the pharmaceutical company Krka breathed new life into the city's basketball by supporting the creation of a team that has since actively participated in European club competitions.
BC Krka is proud of its numerous titles. The team is a seven-time champion of Slovenia and the winner of the 2011 Challenge Cup. Krka also became the finalist of the ULEB European Cup in 2003 and the Adriatic League in 2002. These achievements confirm the high level of play and professionalism of the club.
